HomeWhy Troop 110?
Troop 110 is a small troop located in Stokesdale, NC made up of a group of great young men and parents.
What makes Troop 110 unique is that because we are a smaller troop, the scouts bond together and grow as friends within the troop as opposed to larger troops that often contain "cliques" within the troop. We attribute this environment to a higher attainment of Eagle Scouts. Nationally, about 4-7% of Scouts attain the rank of Eagle, whereas, our record is much higher in the 70-80% range. Chances are, if you join Troop 110 as a scout, you will attain the rank of Eagle.
In the past year, we just had three more attain the rank of Eagle with three more beginning to work on their Eagle Project this year and expected to "Eagle out" in the second half of the year,
This means Troop 110 is looking for new scouts to replenish the ranks and join in on the fun. This is a great time of year to join the troop, as we are doing plenty outdoors over the next couple of months. With Summer Camp, Camping, Canooing/Fishing and Hiking trips coming up, it's a great time to experience the outdoors.
